Gibsons Hottest

Highest output gibson offers. And its hot. Tom Delonge uses one. I use one. Its great, its not a clean pick for sure. But if you want distortion and growl this is the pickup to pick.

stand back and rock!

Iown a set of original Dirty Fingers(dated nov,1978)in a flying V I built in school, and they're awesome,so I couldnt resist the temptation to see what the reissue was like.Well for once these come really close to the original i'm happy to say. They aren't quite as warm as the originals, but i'm attributing it to age of the magnets.still I'd tell anyone playing hard rock or metal to put it in the bridge position and feel no shame about being loud

Gibson Dirty Fingers Pickup

I was first introduced to the Dirty Fingers with my 1983 Gibson Explorer. It sounded so fat and the distortion was lush and powerful. I purchased a reissue recently and put it in my 90 Gibson V. It made this guitar sound incredible!! There is no better sounding rock and roll pickup..

gimme' dirty

I recently put this pickup in my ibanez artcore AS73, and it really woke it up. I play through a mesa boogie stilleto ace head and this thing will blow your head off if you're not carefull. But the high tones are so bright and clear, when played clean, it is just creamy and I swear the sound waves litteraly drip on the floor. It's fantastic, throw some distortion with it, and it gives you some seriouse room to work with, with a footswitchable amp, you can really get the best of a low volume drive and the pickup will hold it's ground, throw in some overdrive and your bandmates better have ear protection. Best pick up for a hollowbody.

Can't keep your fingers clean with these!

I got not 1, but 2 of these installed on my 2006 Hamer Scarab. They are pricey, but well worth it. Only get them if you want a loud and clear sound for like playing metal. These are very high output pickups so it will crank out the jucie for you! I love em and will use them up till they give out and I'm get 2 more! I was so impressed with both, the roar and clarity they provided on my CD demos. These Gibsons are insane! You won't regret if you play metal! Better save up your cash and buy em, cause you can't keep your fingers clean with these Gibson "Dirty fingers"! =)
