Comments about Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom '70s Electric Guitar:

You can't find anything about this on Gibson's website. Basically it's the leftover from the Ace Frehley custom (body & neck) It has the 50's style wiring for a 3 pickup Black Beauty. It came with three 57 classic pickups (not burstbuckers). Fretboard is ebony and a long neck tenon. Neck profile is about the same as my Traditional Pro (60's slime taper). And it's a pancake chambering or weight it's heavy (mine is 11 lbs). Plays and sounds like a dream, great action right out of the box. Just a little gain on the amp and it sustains for days. Neck has the volute. No complaints about this one. Gibson got it right on this and found a great way to use up some leftovers!
