In honor of his scorching riffs and remarkable stage presence, Gibson honors one of heavy metal's premier lead guitarists with the Zakk Wylde Signature Les Paul. It features Wylde's trademark black- and antique-white bull's-eye graphics; powerful EMG humbucking pickups (an 81 and 85); and an oiled, raw maple neck. The body has a one-piece mahogany back with carved maple top; ebony fretboard with pearl block inlay; gold hardware including an engraved gold truss-rod cover with Zakk Wylde logo; multi-ply binding on top, back, neck, and peghead. A gorgeous guitar and capable of doing serious sonic damage.

PEDAL TO THE METAL!!!!!!!!!!!

I just recently purchased this Zakk Wylde Les Paul and it is nothing less than amazing! It's got the quality you would expect from a Gibson and the firepower to play anything metal. You really can't go wrong with the EMG pickups anyway(81,85). The price is a bit much but if you've got the cash this guitar is well worth it. Recommend completely! A+++++++++++++++

The Heaviest...

In more ways than one- but it's worth it. Great guitar- great sound, great workmanship, price was kinda steep, but you got pay if you wanna play with the best. Highly recommended!

Zakk Wylde Les Paul

well for a guitar this pricy,it better be packing some quality and for this guitar that is the case.Two EMGs already sound good, and an unfinished maple neck is perfect for solos.the main reson I did not give it a perfect score is the weight:it weighs 9 pounds but with a guitar this killer i would reccomend it to anybody that loves Les pauls or just wants a killer guitar buy this one.

Perfect heavy metal guitar

I've always been a huge fan of EMG pickups, but what is even better is when EMG and and a Les Paul combine. This guitar is mainly designed for heavy metal and hard rock, but when you use this guitar playing the music it was designed to play, you can't go wrong. This guitar is a lot of fun to play, also, and the unfinished neck makes the playability pretty good. the problem with this guitar though, is that it is very heavy, and I don't just mean in sound. When you are standing up while you play it, it's almost uncomfotable. But, other than that I would highly reccomend this guitar for anyone who mainly plays hard rock.
