pretty good

I am 5'10" tall and this guitar stool works perfect for me. The foot ring is at the right height to prevent your guitar from slipping off your leg and the comfort level is moderately good. There are a few drawbacks though. First, the swivel is not as easy to spin as you would think. There is a pretty good ammount of friction, so it's not like your on ball bearings or something... Second the padding is not as great as it looks like. In the pictures, it looks as if the whole top is this big cushion that you sit on, but actually there is only a cushion layer at the top that is about 1/2-1" thick. So it's not quite as comfy as it looks, but it beats sitting on a wooden stool for sure though. All in all i am very glad that i bought this and i think it is well worth the $ that i paid for it, in fact i am so glad that i bought it that i can't believe i didn't have one sooner. Here's an example: not having one of these is like buying a brand new electric guitar and then not having an amp to play it on. I feel as if i should have had this stool from day one as soon as i first started playing guitar. In the past i was always searching for a foot prop so that i wouldn't have to cross my leg over my knee, like i usually do, and end of having my leg fall asleep. But now, Problem Solved :) I seriously reccomend this product.
