The Gibson Firebird Custom was created in memory of the forest fires that ravaged Montana in 2000. Gibson Acoustic was spared though the flames did come close. It is based on the Gibson J-30 model and hand built in the Montana Custom Shop.
The construction and materials used are top notch !. The quilted maple will take awhile to "open up" and bit but it is already sounding better then my Martin !. Harmonics are excellent. Has a nice low end and bright Highs. Very nice and easy playability as well. The Firebird acoustic is worth every penny . I would recommend this fine guitar
