A sweet and simple classic version of the Les Paul.

The Gibson Les Paul Junior Single Cutaway Electric Guitar was introduced in 1957 as an economy version of the Les Paul Guitar. It featured the same mahogany construction as its more expensive counterpart, but with a flat top and a single pickup. A lot of players preferred the simplicity of the Les Paul Junior over the more elaborate Standard and Custom models. This Gibson Custom Shop re-creation has fine tone, playing action, and performance. Gibson includes a hardshell case with the 1957 Les Paul Junior Guitar.

Gibson's Custom Shop produces some of the finest electric guitars on earth. Using the best materials money can buy, a staff of skilled luthiers reproduce some of the greatest Gibsons of the past and create stunning new instruments for players and collectors who demand the best.

  • Fantastic!

As reviewed by Justin on 7/23/2010

I bought this guitar 4 years ago through Guitar Center. I ordered the White version, which took a bit longer to make since it is not the color usually asked for. It took a few months, but finally it came in. Fantastic! I love and cherish this guitar. It has the classic tone and feel of a vintage, but the P-90 has great push for live Rock performances. I have used this guitar at every show I've played in 4 years as well as in the studio. You will not be disappointed with this guitar, I guarantee it! It may be a bit expensive, but it is well worth every dollar! This guitar will last you the rest of your life.

O.k let get this sraight. This is the best guitar ever. The tone is incredible, and the action is awesome. I won a tv yellow one in a blues club in Texas.(There are pictures of it on Google. The one with the autographs on it.) I have tried numerous les pauls and they were nothing compared to this Junior. All I can say is WOW!

  • Tv Yellow or Dull Yellow? Don't be fooled by these pictures...

As reviewed by GlauberJoe on 5/17/2011

Worked hard for years to get this one, got a VOS and was very disappointed with it's paint-job, especially it's color. It is NOT TV Yellow at all!! It is lime-greenish mustard dull Yellow, not even sure if it can be called Yellow in the first place... Gibson and GC should really post REAL pictures instead of these catalog ones! Don't fooled guys, if you want a REAL yellow, go for a Fender 52 Tele. I have one, and IT IS a beauty and IT IS exactly like the pictures, unlike most of today's Gibsons that makes us look like a bunch of idiots who work hard for the money so they can deceive us.
