When Seth Lover introduced his amazing new humbucking pickups in 1957-exactly like the ones on this Gibson 1957 Les Paul Custom 3 Pickup VOS-Gibson decided the Custom would one-up the Standard by providing the option of 3 pickups. Featuring the classic carved mahogany top on a solid, non-weight relieved mahogany back with 1-piece mahogany neck with long tenon, it generates a warmer, friendlier tone than the standard. A gold bigsby looks cool and lets you put a little wiggle in your chords. The finish is ebony just like the original and the VOS treatment gently ages it to look like an especially well cared for original.
I own this guitar for 9 months now and I would say that the main qualities about this guitar is the powerfull sound that is close to a real 1957 les paul and the playabilities . It is flawless . Personaly I don`t expect more!

Visually, this is a stunning guitar. This guitar, a gold top or burst are the three dream Les Pauls. The whole package (ebony neck, cream binding, gold hardware) is totally over the top. But the third humbucker is what this guitar is all about. With the neck and middle pickups selected, just makes a sound I have heard out of no other guitar, including my other Les Paul. Put this with an overdriven tube amp and you get the classic rock and metal sounds that pedals just do not reproduce. Not cheap but a true dream guitar! The day I bought it, I thought it pinched the wallet a bit. But I've never thought seriously about the price since. Everytime the case gets opened, it gets a wow.
