Burstbucler Pro-

I bought this pickup in hopes of being amazed.. i was blown away! the warm and full driven tone is outstanding through my HRD. I thought at first even through my amp it would sound muddy, but boy was i wrong! all in all it sounds great! it pushes as hard as i want it to when playing at high gain and then quiets to hear lows and mids that you can only acheive with a high end guitar. This pickup made my VERY low end Epiphone sounds like and high end Gibson. I love the burstbucker pro.

Excellent Pickup

I put this into my Epiphone Les Paul Custom. I replaced the Old one because the Potting had come loose on my Bridge Pickup and I started getting feedback. These are very well shielded versus the one that was in my Epiphone. As far as tone goes it is excellent. I would not agree that it is vastly upgraded from the Epiphone Pickup I had. I have 2 Epiphone Les Paul Customs so I can switch back and forth to see the difference. I would say this pickup is definitely better than the Stock Epiphone Pickup, but only slightly better in Tone (In my Opinion). The Shielding is a lot better, although I never had much Noise Problems before.

Amazing

I have an old Studio Les Paul. I put this in the bridge position and have not looked back!! The sound is great. rich tone. I use a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectafier which has "tone" issuses. This pickup fixes that. My les paul Studio now sounds compareable to a Les Paul Standard with burstbuckers. Its no Paul Reed Smith but def worth it. I did the install and was a breeze. GET THIS PICKUP. only problem Guitar Center only sells the bridge pickup in gold. no neck pickup. you have to get a matched pair. the neck and bridge pickups ARE DIFFERENT!!!!!!

Great BUCKING pickup!

Got a set of these for my fairly inexpensive Epiphone Korina Flying V and it turned a good looing guitar into a instrument that not only looks good but sounds great. I would put it up against any Gibson out there, sound for sound.
