  • "Southern Belle\

As reviewed by ToneMan on 10/16/2006

This guitar rings like a bell and sustains for days! I auditioned the Taylors, Breedloves & Martins-all costing more but none having THE TONE like this Gibson. Sure, the others sounded nice and some were more ornate, but this elegant instrument is so evenly well voiced I had to have her. No regrets for this southern belle

  • Best I have owned

As reviewed by PB on 2/19/2007

I have had a Martin D35 for a while and was looking for a second guitar. I played a lot in the quest and just fell in love with this Gibson. Great action, tone, and sustain. So many things I play now actually sound like the original recordings. I'm not a great player, but I love the sound. This guitar has re-inspired me to play more and more... I think I got a good deal at my local Guitar Center, and no pressure to buy. Good transaction, great guitar.

  • Great Sound, Loud

As reviewed by Georgiahunt on 1/8/2007

At first it was going to be an D28. Then I picked up a J45. I wanted to make the right decision so I debated over the D28, J45 and Advanced Jumbo. Finally, I chose the AJ because the neck felt good, and it seemed like there was a lot more sound when I was fingerpicking. I also love the pickguard on the AJ.
