Gibraltar Ultra-Adjust Hi-Hat cymbal stand with Liquid Drive system for balanced action. The Ultra-Adjust hinge allows for a wide range of positioning options. The No-Leg Base gives you more options for placement with racks or multi-stand set-ups. A stabilizer Rock plate with Velcro keeps the base solidly in position. The Liquid Drive System provides a completely balanced action giving an equal tension feel for the downstroke and upstroke.
Gibraltar Hardware now offers a 5-year limited warranty, effective January 1, 2003.

This warranty extends only to defects in materials or workmanship as limited above and does not extend to any product which has been lost, discarded, by accident or improper maintenance; or which has been altered; or which has been repaired or modified by a non-authorized person or company. This warranty does not apply to any owner other than the original purchaser; any defects caused by reasonable use, neglect, moisture and/or temperature extremes, handling, shipping or accidents. Under the warranty- repair of replacement parts is the only remedy, and loss of use of the products, loss of time, inconvenience or consequential damages are not covered.

If you are a consumer, please contact your place of purchase to request Warranty Evaluation. You need to provide the model number, and a copy of your original sales receipt for the product when you return it to the store. My drum set is double base. Initially I thought Id have to get used to doing the splits to play the high-hat as it was just so far to the left. I did every thing I could to close the distance, even to modifying the old high-hat stand to remove a leg so I could get it closer to the left base. Really not a satisfactory set up. I saw the legless ultra adjust in the Gibraltar catalog and thought this will do the trick. I ordered it up and waited. I was a little apprehensive about the fluid drive. I have a remote high-hat set up but the feel is terrible which I attribute to the big long cable attaching the pedal to the head. When it arrived I was anxious to check out the feel. I had nothing to worry about, smooth as silk! I use a rack system and I added a mount to grab the ultra adjust on the upper section - rock solid. I didnt give this set up five stars for just one reason. I bought it looking to get the most horizontal separation I could between the pedal and the cymbals. The way they come from the factory is a little self defeating. The way the offset lugs on the pedal riser and the head are about all you can get is 4" of separation. I disassembled mine at the offset lugs and turned them around so they add to the offset rather than subtract from it. Now I have about 8 inches of offset and it is perfect. The pedal is in front of the left bass, right next to the bass pedal. The cymbals clear the small rack tom and it fits me like a glove!
I bought this bad boy because I originally bought the Gibraltar No-Leg Hi Hat Stand With Liquid Drive hoping to save space. But the balance on the one was just terrible it would practically fall over with any movement. the pedal was pretty great though. I went back to the store and They recommended me the Ultra Adjust no leg stand. So i said what the hell and got it. Brought it home and it was love at first sight. The Pedal Is amazing itself. But then when you get to the upperhalf where you can adjust the stand and move it. Its simply revolutionary. I love this stand and to my surprise its The Most stable Stand I Own! If you want a stand that will last go with this one You wont be disappointed.
