The Avenger II bass drum pedals deliver fast, solid, double-cam action with simple execution. These double pedals have a four-bearings-per-drive system. Easy key access adjustable hoop clamp, adjustable spring tension and ROCK stabilizer plates with Velcro base give a solid, balanced feel.
Gibraltar Hardware now offers a 5-year limited warranty, effective January 1, 2003.

This warranty extends only to defects in materials or workmanship as limited above and does not extend to any product which has been lost, discarded, by accident or improper maintenance; or which has been altered; or which has been repaired or modified by a non-authorized person or company. This warranty does not apply to any owner other than the original purchaser; any defects caused by reasonable use, neglect, moisture and/or temperature extremes, handling, shipping or accidents. Under the warranty- repair of replacement parts is the only remedy, and loss of use of the products, loss of time, inconvenience or consequential damages are not covered.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY INFORMATION
If you are a store, please contact Kaman Music Corporation customer service with the model number, problem and warranty status of the item.
If you are a consumer, please contact your place of purchase to request Warranty Evaluation. You need to provide the model number, and a copy of your original sales receipt for the product when you return it to the store. The store will contact Kaman Music on your behalf to arrange for the Warranty Evaluation.

A few months ago, I was on this website looking for a well priced/durable beginners Double Pedal, And a drum company that makes a pedal to that standard; That's why I chose the Gibraltar Avenger Double Pedal. Like I mentioned in my DW Drop Lock Clutch review, I like options for different sounds and beat patterns. It only took me about 30 minutes to put it together and to set it just right for max effectiveness. Just make sure you have a dual leg HH, in which I recommend the Gibraltar 9600 Dual Leg Hi-Hat Stand W/ Liquid Drive. When I received my double pedal, I was a little confused because I got a different beater than the one in the picture above, but it's all good. Some great features is the Double chain for durability and velcro on the bottom of the pedal and a clamp for sturdiness. So if your seriously considering this product to be in your future drum setup, The Avenger is more than capable for the job, I guarantee it.
I play light metal in a band. I own a double bass kit, but the second bass drum was being too much to carry around, so i bought this pedal without using it first, and i have to say, this is an amazing progress. there are so many different ways of adjusting this pedal, the beaters even have memory locks on them, and almost everything that could come loose during use has a second screw to back it up. very good product, best double bass pedal ive played on.
I have auditioned quite a number of double bass pedals (DW, tama, pearl, etc..) to replace my gibraltar double bass pedal that finally gave out.....after 23 years!!!(I bought it in 1988 and the only reason it died was because I left it in a trunk that got flooded and it rusted out). I am still using my high-hat stand purchased at the same time!! Folks, don't under-estimate gibraltar hardware. I have used and abused this stuff and it held up without a hitch. While it doesn't have quite as many fine tuning options as say a DW does, the feel and response are fantastic. Smooth all the way through the stroke, without too much "bounceback". It gets the job done and then some!
