Gibraltar's 5600 Series Double-braced Cymbal Boom Stand utilizes all professional features in a low-mass double-braced stand. The tripod has a cast height assembly and Gibraltar's round rubber feet provide stability without a large profile. Stand features hinged height adjustments with ABS insert and standard 8mm cymbal tilter with oversized felt.
Gibraltar Hardware now offers a 5-year limited warranty, effective January 1, 2003.

This warranty extends only to defects in materials or workmanship as limited above and does not extend to any product which has been lost, discarded, by accident or improper maintenance; or which has been altered; or which has been repaired or modified by a non-authorized person or company. This warranty does not apply to any owner other than the original purchaser; any defects caused by reasonable use, neglect, moisture and/or temperature extremes, handling, shipping or accidents. Under the warranty- repair of replacement parts is the only remedy, and loss of use of the products, loss of time, inconvenience or consequential damages are not covered.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY INFORMATION
If you are a store, please contact Kaman Music Corporation customer service with the model number, problem and warranty status of the item.
If you are a consumer, please contact your place of purchase to request Warranty Evaluation. You need to provide the model number, and a copy of your original sales receipt for the product when you return it to the store. The store will contact Kaman Music on your behalf to arrange for the Warranty Evaluation.

I use this stand for my ride. I play a 22" heavy ride cymbal and my previous boom stand was wobbly because of the weight. I picked up one of these because it looked solid... it is. I'll probably pick up a couple more for my crashes.
awesome , sturdy, and best of all its Gibraltar awesome warranty. Heavy duty,and is very easy to gig because it collapses into a compact unit...a+
Well, picked up one of these stands at my local shop, it's a medium weight and it was pretty cheap so I figured why not. I have an 18" china on it, and it might be because I bang the holy heck out of the china, but this thing moves around as much as the crowd does. I haven't played a show where this thing hasn't literally moved out of my entire arm's reach. Obviously there isn't padding to prevent vibrations etc. Even with the legs fully extended. Save up. Go big or go home, get a heavyweight stand. I wouldn't recommend this at all.
