  • Great bag for great price

    I had bought one of these bags for my moms saxophone because her old case was falling apart. I had shopped around and looked at various models and styles. I wanted to find something that she could easily carry her sax and music sheets in and not tie up both hands, or better yet any hands. I liked this one because of the backpack style. My mom also loves it because she can pack her stuff away in it and put it on her back freeing up her hands, which also helps with her arthritis problems. When we got the bag it felt like a good quality bag, the padding felt adequate and that it would protect the instrument inside pretty well. No needing to worry or constantly baby the case on every single move. It also has a pretty roomy pocket which you can store your reeds, cork grease or any other accessories you may need to carry with you. The back pack straps are padded and don't put pressure on your shoulders or back, which is a plus for comfort. For how much i payed for this bag is definitely worth the ease and comfort placed on my mom for just carrying around her saxophone. We both highly approve and thank musicians friend!

    I bought this gig bag for my daughter's band class because the case she would normally carry was very heavy in addition to her heavy back pack filled with school books. This bag was the answer we were looking for it is very light easy to carry and protects the instrument. The only thing I wish it did have is a tad more space for the instrument its self. Also my daughter sometimes has a hard time putting her sax away due to the tight fit.

  • Works Great!!

    I don't actually own this particular case but my friend does. He plays in a few bands of various genres like jazz, blues, etc. When he first got this case, I thought he'd be taking his sax to the shop within a month but the case is HEAVY DUTY. This thing really protects the instrument and makes a sax so much more portable. I will be switching to this type of case within a month. It is worth it, especially when it comes to space issues and durability.
