The Genelec 7050BPM LSE Subwoofer provides a low frequency response down to 25 Hz with amazing bass articulation. This is made possible in such a compact enclosure thanks to Genelec's patented Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) technology. With 5 main input channels and an LFE channel with 85/120 Hz reproduction bandwidth selection, the 8020BPM/7050BPM system fulfills the needs of 5.1 productions. You can also use the 7050BPM to complement the 8030A monitor.
The 7050BPM is designed to complement Genelec's 8020A active monitors in stereo and surround applications, and the 8030A in stereo only setup. The subwoofer features a single 8" (205mm) proprietary driver with a 70 Watt power amplifier.
It has a frequency response from 25 Hz - 85 Hz (± 3dB), and the ability to deliver short term sine wave of 100 dB SPL in half space at 1 metre. Like all Genelec LSE active subwoofers, the 7050B also features extremely low distortion.

Comments about Genelec 7050B Active Subwoofer:
I've been using Genelec products at the studio I work at for almost 5 years now. Using the 1035B mains paired with the 7071a subwoofer. As well as 1031a monitors. I really got accustomed to the Genelec sound. So when I went shopping for a sub for my home studio, I looked at Genelec first. So I settled on this little guy with the not so little sound. This thing can pump out the bass. Its accurate and so articulate. I have it paired with a pair of 1031a's. Which is not a perfect pairing, but it still sounds fantastic. If you're looking for a home studio sub woofer and can also spend a little more, or even a professional studio sub woofer, this sub is superb. There are larger subs out there for less than half the price of the 7050b, but you can't put a price on accuracy and quality. Actually, you can, accuracy and quality costs $1,345.00. I swear I don't work for Genelec. So If you're in the market for accuracy, truth and a brand name your parents can't pronounce, this little brick *human excrement* house is for you!
