I wanted to start in the DJ business and since I am into a tight budget I decided to buy one of these with two GVX-10P's. They sound amazing. Also, I wanted to start with something small. I made the right decision, this sub not only sounds great, but fits well in a small car along with the other equipment. In a near future if you plan to buy more equipment you will still have use for this versatile unit.
I have had this sub for a little over 3 months, I've had no problems with it. This thing can put out TONS of low end it may be small but WOW it has power!
Good bass for a small sub. Very easy to transport. Good options on the back for general PA use. I use it with a small set of Yamaha speakers and it added the bass it needed for small DJ parties. Fills a room of 20x20 very well.
I recently purchased the KSUB from Guitar Center and was initially impressed by the compact design. I needed a sub that was transportable, of good value and quality and did not need a fork lift truck to move it. To date, the KSUB has met all my expectations (and then some). Class D amplifier; Great, quiet and robust. Very transportable; the wheels are quiet (NO rattle when using the sub). The stability is completely acceptable considering its dimensions and I am at ease with mounting a 10"-12" active sub on the supplied threaded pole. It may not be ideal for large venues but the trade off is more than worth the compactness, quality, transportability and good looks of this subwoofer. recommended.
I am just getting into djing I just used it for a home party and it was great thanks to Jason at your store in Flint Mi for talking me into this one I would recomended to anyone who is starting out
