The 15" Gemini GVX-15P Active Loudspeaker packs quite a punch despite its deceptively compact design. The GVX-15P loudspeaker system also delivers accurate, detailed midrange and pleasant, smooth highs.
Accurate, detailed midrange and pleasant, smooth highs emanate from the 15" woofer with 2.5" voice coil and high-output 1.5" titanium driver. You can drive the Gemini active bi amp speaker to its limits without distorting your sound.
Specs for the Gemini GVX-15P loudspeaker include: 500W RMS (420W LF + 80W RF) with a 1000W peak (840W + 160W). And amplifier thermal, short circuit, and DC protections mean that your Gemini loudspeaker keeps on moving air when you need it to.
The Gemini GVX-15P speaker is also physically protected by its 3/4" MDF construction, a perforated steel-mesh grille, and a water-resistant textured black paint finish. Recessed flush handles make taking this Gemini speaker to your gigs even easier. What's more, the live sound GVP-15P active loudspeaker's enclosure is flyable, pole-mountable, and floor wedge-able.

I've been a DJ for over 10 years and I started out using NON powered speakers a bunch of guys I knew aways had JBL,Mackies. I saw these and thought there cheaper and I dont really do alot of BIG time events so I got them I'll have to say the sound you get out of these speakers are GREAT now your not gonna want to be using them at proms but for smaller weddings and functions there just right they are on the heavy size but its worth it when you plug them up I would recomend these to anyone who is just starting out and looking to get the most bang for your BUCK!!!
gemini really stepped thier game up with these...sound is steller. add a sub and omg right up there with mackie and jbl....a bit on the heavy side but a quality speaker. i would reccomend to anyone unless you cant lift 80+ pounds
