The Gemini RS-308 2-way passive speaker offers power handling of 120W RMS and 480W peak. Its trapezoidal ABS impact-resistant nylon fiber cabinet has a wide horn for superior sound dispersion. The cab houses an 8" woofer with 1-1/2" voice coil and a 1" compression driver. It is equipped with Speakon input and output connectors and is flyable and stand mountable.

  • New life to an old PA

    I wanted a small speaker pair to take to jam sessions and guitar pulls, my local stores scoffed and said they did not carry any thing smaller than a 12 inch thats all musicians buy! so I went on line and got a pair of these gemini rs-308. I was very pleased with the sight of this Abs nylon fiber cabinet very high tech looking and performance. I hooked a pa head to it and ran a guitar thru no problems sounded better than I expected excelent tonal range for acoustic electric guitar. Next the electronic piano test, this is where most other speakers crap out,my findings were very nice tonal qualities and good bass sound. I was shocked so I kicked in the full accoumpanment on the keyboard shurly this would fart the speaker, but to no avail. These ran like a pair costing 10 time more I love the little led green light the lights up when sound is sent to speaker.

  • not bad for the money

    purchased 4 of these (RS 308) for some light duty delay work - no expectation of low end output, and none present so no surprise there. Needs a little EQ to tame the response, port tuning frequency especially, and little harsh in the 2k area... Still for the price, with integrated rigging points, they can't be beat. Did Gaff tape over the gemini logo... amusing that the led (from the powered version) is still on the front of the cabinet. Could also be effective for some surround effects duties as well...
