The Gemini GVX-SUB15P subwoofer features a 15" woofer speaker with a 2.5" voice coil and 60 oz. magnet. It also has a built-in amp with limiter circuit, balanced XLR 1/4" combo input, balanced XLR output and high-pass output. The GVX-SUB15P is a great addition to any setup, especially when paired with the GVX Series 12" or 15" loudspeakers. I have 2 of them used them twice since I had them. Very warm room filling low ends. Gemini Made a great come back with these. For the Price, weight, and size for mobility, you won't ever be dissapointed. totally mobile. Very powerfull, and very hard to clip, as loud as I had them they weren't even breaking a swet! Great investment for the mobile DJ on a tight budget especially!!!!
I blew out a sub at a show and bought this sub as a "short term", inexpensive solution until I could afford something else. WOW, was I surprised.The power, drive, and tone are awesome. The fact that it isn't large made me nervous, as I was replacing a monster sized sub. I now love the fact that I get better sound from this without killing myself carrying this around.Also, you can put it under the dj table, hiding it from view, and crush the bass sound...it's awesome. The safety features offered on it also put my mind at ease. You can drive this without fear of killing it. I am actually ordering another one as soon as I am done with this review. Great job, Gemini, in creating a powered sub that is affordable, portable, and sounds great!
