  • Poor design

    After purchasing for of these for performance at the Lodge in our community, I never even had the opportunity to try them out. Despite the fact that the web-page suggested buying a tripod stand for the speakers (which I did), when I unpacked them, I discovered that the did not have an insert hole for mounting! I never even thought to check, especially since tripods were advertised as an accessory! On the plus side, Guitar Center was very helpful, paid for the return freight, and gave me the same discount on a slightly more expensive set of speakers.

  • "not bad at all"

    I also have JBL, Peavey, MTX, and Community speaker cabinets. This particular brand and model sounds so crystal clear and the bass is boomy, which is a good thing. I think this is as good as the other brands I have. I use it with a pair of JBLJRX115 speaker cabs running a Yamaha powered 16 channel mixer(1000 watts) through it and it sounds crystal clear and the bass speaker of this cabinet is boomier than the JBL 15's. Another advantage of this cabinet is the weight, it is very light not mentioning the low price I paid for. We run everything through the PA including keyboards, drums, bass, guitar, vocals. I'm planning to get the Gemini double 15's version because it is also light and have the same specs and it is reasonable priced.
