What can you say about a stand? Well, this one is a very solid stand, good padding on it to keep it from scrapping your axe. I have another stand thats not listed on this website that the padding actually started to peel a little, and the glue got allover the back of my guitar, and it was not easy to clean. Thats why I like this one, the padding don't peel, so it keeps guitars clean.

My friend owns this stand and it seems to be working great for him. For the price, it seems like it's a decent stand. I bought this stand about 2 weeks ago, and it failed to hold my Fender Strat. The weld on the bottom bar came loose and I found my axe sitting on the floor. Perhaps I was an unlucky customer, but I thought I'd share this experience. My suggestion is to spend a little extra money to make sure your expensive guitar is safe.

Great product at a great price.

By Thomas D. Nola

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

The stand holds my bass and is very steady. I tried to tip it over and it just would not go. How can you complain about a product that does it job so well at a price like this!

Guitar Stand

By Ed

from Rochester, NY

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

A very sturdy, well constructed stand. I've been using one of these for years. I would recommend covering the rubber tubing with something like adhesive-backed felt, of even just masking tape, because most treatments for rubber and some for plastic have this nasty tendency to have a chemical reaction with the nicer guitar finishes that leaves some of that black color on the back of your neck. Even if you have a polyester finished guitar body, I would do it anyways to be safe, since even cheap guitars tend to have nicer finishes on the neck, and its the nitrocellulose and some "gloss" polyurethane finishes used for neck treatments that seem to be most susceptible to it.

SAVE YOUR GUITAR! DON'T BUY!

By Nate Harvey

from Raleigh NC

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

My SG was sitting perfectly on this stand, when, without cause or reason, my guitar fell and broke at the headstock. Thankfully gibson will replace my guitar, but if they hadn't my guitar would be totaled. DON'T BUY!

Very Nice!

By Bowtie

from Cincinnati, OH

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

Very nice stand. For the money, you can't beat it. The padding is a lot better than I thought. Most cheap stands have rough, if any, padding but for the price I thought I would give this one a try. I now have three and will buy more as the need arises. You won't be disappointed!

Perfect

By Gary Tompkins

from Maryland

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

This stand is easy to assemble, no tools required. It breaks down into an easy to carry package. The foam padding will keep it from scratching your baby. The tripod is solid and does not have a tendency to tip. It hold my electrics and acoustics just fine. The rubber strap keeps your guitar from falling out if bumped. Just what you need in a quality stand and the price is unbelievable.

seems fine

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

fine rack for just leaving it in your room when no one is around. I play piano primarily so guitar comes second- but the stand seems to do its job just sitting there

Great Price for a Great Guitar Stand

By Monica

from Charlottesville, VA

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

I bought two of these guitar stands for my husband and he really likes them. Easy to assemble and nicely padded wherever it touches the guitar. I'm impressed with this guitar stand especially for the great price. He has other stands that were more expensive and not as nice.

Decent stand for the price

By Sam

from Muncie, IN

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

I bought this for my first acoustic. It would probably work better for an electric, as the base isn't quite as wide as I might like. It's alright for cheap guitars but the extra five bucks to upgrade to one with a strap to hold it in would definitely be worth it. Although, it is durable. Can't do too much complaining for the price.

Great buy!

By Mark

from California

Comments about Gear One GS-2 METAL GUITAR STAND:

It's a great stand, but be careful cuz some stands can ruin your finish (at least that's what I've heard). I don't think this one does, but you should verify it if you buy it. It doesn't come with a rubber thing on the neck to keep the guitar from falling forward, but other than that its great.
