Comments about Gator Slinger Dual Bass Gig Bag:
At the time of this writing I've been using this bag for eight months and carrying at least one bass three times a week. I have to walk with this over my shoulder for about six blocks and sometimes catch the subway. Since I'm not just taking them to a car and back this bag is getting a decent workout. I have ZERO problems with the shoulder strap so far. I'm tall (6'1) with broad shoulders so I don't feel any discomfort or it sliding around. I make sure I get it way over on my shoulder blade. The big minus is the light padding. It is a semi rigid case and with enough space to handle most bass guitars but that means its not form fitting and your bass can move around a bit inside. The evidence of this is if you put your bass in the case in one way the tuners will move slightly and a tuned bass will be out of tune. So you know. In its defense this is a gig bag and not a case. There is a smaller zipper pouch to hold a few items but it is weak. A fun plus is that sometimes I'll take a bass and my telecaster instead of a second bass. This has become incredibly important to me. I really changed around my music habits having both instruments handy. That is most likely a niche market. If you were only taking one Bass you might be able to use the other slot for small pieces of other equipment. For only a few dollars more than a single bass guitar gig bag this one is a good deal if you need the versatility.
