I've owned several guitars with hard cases over the years, but this is the best ever. It is so light weight I had to check to see if the guitar was in there. It has shoulder straps like a gig bag, it does not weigh much more than a nice gig bag, yet the protection for the instrument is better than hard shell cases which cost much more. I highly recommend this one!
I started out with a used Epiphone EJ200 guitar without a case. I wanted light-weight, reasonable price and a good fit. I could see that the weight and price were okay, but you don't know about fit until the first time you drop the guitar into the case. It turned out to be a perfect fit. The case appears to be well-made and sturdy, with nice soft lining. I don't think I would hand it over to the airline baggage handlers, but for my purposes, it's fine. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Gator GL-JUMBO Lightweight Jumbo Acoustic Guitar Case ~ 10 STARS!
I recently ordered a Gator GL-Jumbo guitar case for my very heavy 12 string F412 Guild. I had searched online and read all the info. I could find. Some of the cases were very expensive, but I considered buying one if it was well made and light weight and would protect my beautiful guitar. There are a lot of cases out there, and in the past, I've had quite a few, but I took a chance and ordered this case, based on the specs, reviews and the info. I read on the Guitar Center Website and many other sites. I am so happy that I took the chance. It is the lightest weight, best guitar case I have ever had, and at an amazingly reasonable price. I am very impressed with how well-made it is. There is absolutely no odor, either! It fit my guitar like a glove, and has a very well padded, soft interior. Another bonus is, it has very useful and functional zippered accessory pockets. The largest pocket is actually large enough and shaped perfectly to fit any music you may want to take with you, and it is a very nice looking case! I feel very confident that my guitar will be protected when I take it to any gigs. I was so impressed, I ordered another one for my Guild D25. Now I can carry both of my guitars without wishing I had a dolly! My guitars are very happy, and so am I.
