Made with the finest ABS plastic and an ultra-strong extruded aluminum valance, the Gator Deluxe Hardshell Guitar Case has a through-bolted system that attaches the exterior plastic to the interior foam, making it exceptionally rugged. The interior is designed to keep your Yamaha APX guitar safe with soft plush and an EPS foam that supports the neck. It also features an interior pocket and triple plated chrome latches that lock.

I bought this case for my new Alvarez Acoustic-Electric guitar. I have had this case for over 5 years now! And has never failed me. I have dropped it a couple of times. But my guitar is so safe with this case. The price is an ok price if you want a good case. I would Highly recommend it. The storage space is great! I even put my pedal guitar tuner in there some times!! Sweet!!
I just bought the APX700II left- handed version and this case fits it like a glove. It is a very well constructed and good looking case that is worthy of my new APX700II which I purchased from GC. The APX700II is an excellent, finely crafted, and unique guitar that deserves a case that will match it's quality and this case does. Way to go Gator!
What I really like about my Yamaha APX-500 guitar is the way she feels in my arms; good action and the thin body is comfortable to hold. Because of the instruments unique dimensions it is hard to find a case that fits without putting weird stresses on the guitar, for example the neck comes up towards the lid at an angle in a conventional case because the body is thinner. But the Gator GC-APX case fits perfectly. In fact, I even have to take the strap off every time I put it in the case because otherwise it doesn't quite work. There's still room in the compartment for my digital recorder, and I roll the strap up and tuck it beside the cutaway of the guitar body. It's a very solid and durable case that holds my guitar like a warm babe on a summer night.
