I am in a professional band, and I will never go to a show without one of these again. Its light, and pretty much indestructable. You can stack things on top of it in the van to save space, and roll it easily into the venue. It will definitely protect whatever you put in it. If we dont bring our pa, we stick our mics, cables, pedals etc in it. Versatile and worth the value! I highly recommend if you are serious about your equipment.

Nice looking rack, but I'm not completely in love with it
There are good points about this case. I like the molded handles. On some other rack cases I've had the handles have failed in one way or another but these handles are big and sturdy and molded so there's no way they'll fail. They help give the case the overall beefy look it has, which is probably it's best feature. But looking good is not necessarily all one expects from a rack case.The latches feel maybe a little bit flimsy. We'll see over time if they get loose; I bet they do. For now they're fine but my case is only a couple weeks old. They just seem kind of small for such an otherwise-rugged-looking case.I bought this case specifically because it rolls. But I got a few surprises about that feature.
For one thing, the wheels kind of make the case higher on one side. I got this case to house my bass amp, and when I put the rack on top of my speaker cabinet it does not sit flat. It's slightly tilted because the wheels are taller than the rubber feet. I may wind up racking everything upside down, but then you have to roll with everything upside down and I have a rack drawer in there and don't really want to have to turn my rack upside down all the time and make the contents of the drawer flop around any more than necessary.
The other surprise was the flimsiness of the telescoping handle. That's probably the most disappointing thing about the case. I've got around 60 lbs of gear in my 8-space rolling rack, and I feel like it will not take long before the handle just snaps off during normal use and I will be unable to use the rolling feature of the case.
These issues might only be specific to the 8-space version with heavy stuff in it. If you get a smaller one with lightweight contents and don't have to store it in a trailer with other gear or otherwise have to worry about the flimsy little latches breaking off when other people load your gear, maybe it would be great. As it is, the best feature I can see about it is just that it looks pretty cool (when it's not all jacked-up on its wheels on top of my cab).
