I special ordered from GC with a 4ohm load and paired it with a 1001rb II. I use a music man 4 and Warrior 5. It's thunderous. You can't drive this cab too hard. My band mates rave about the tone. Go with 4 ohm load. You won't need an extension cab and it's easy on your back. Plus this price is right.
I'm using a 700RB II for it's bi amp capabilities with this cabinet and loving this combo. Everything sounds great...the lows are awesome, mids booming, and highs are clean and clear. With amp that has a good EQ, should be able to get any tone you like from this cabinet.
I just got this cab doubled with a neo 115 topped off with a gk 1001 rb and let me tell you the review title sais it all HOLY SH*! This rig is freakin amazing, if there were more than 5 stars i would give it more. GK is where it is at for us bass players. I am begging you try this GK gear before making any decisions!!!!!!
This is a remarkable sounding cab! plenty of headroom for 5 string players, but has great mid to high end sound for your lead rifs! The casters are really great, especially late at night when loading up. It's the lightest and easiest cab to maneuever around that I ever had. 800 watts never sounded so good!
Just bought this cab.I was picking out a combo for for our band (the last combo I'll recommend). but we wanted to be certain an extension cab would work. The 410 neo sounded great with 210 neo combo but since I already had a 1001rb head I asked the sales associate to let me try the 1001 head and 410 neo and Wollopping Websnappers!!! Well I was not in position to buy yet and what funds I did have kept me the used cab game. Well income taxes came in but with my Fred Sanford mentality I still went used. Well after a Goliath III did not give me the thrilling ring I heard with 410 neo I finally loaded up the truck (minivan) with almost every cab I had and got the 410 neo. It lacks nothing, and if I want my band has a 115 neo to stack but I'm greedy. I want another 410 neo. And the Squire I said Squire 70's Jazz all maple bass is pure heaven through this set up. Only warning I would have is use GK heads with GK cabs as I believe the head to cab match was my issue with the goliath III.
I just bought this cab.and it sounds silky smooth.I have enough volume for all my gigs.It sound great with the 700RBII.A Jazz bass and some Dr strings and it can't be beat.My back likes it as much as my ears.It is very easy to carry by youself.
I just switched from Acoustic amps to the GK line and this 410 Neo cabinet blew me away. It can handle my highs and can bump the lows. The metal grill also adds Twang. Im going to get the 412 cabinet soon to go with this one. I recommend this GK to anyone. Plus it is lightweight and easy to transport.
After having played several different brands, amp and cabinet combinations, etc. I kept coming back to this one. I brought the guitarist from the band that I play in with me on my next visit to make sure that it wasn't just a personal bias. He sat and listened to different setups with me and after hearing this one coupled with the RB1001-II amp he agreed that it was the best sounding setup he'd heard. I've used it in practice for a couple of weeks and was pleased with it. Got to use it in a large club this weekend and it sounded fantastic. It's got plenty of punch and performed nicely. Also, it is VERY light, not a strain on the back at all. No buyer's remorse here. Completely satisfied.
Gk in general is the best. It has been my 1st rig and will be my only rig. I started with a GK rbh410(which I still have and sounds nice) and always wanted a GK Neo410 because i it was the very 1st cab i used and it opened my mind into the world of bass cabs and because of the style it has matching the rb series heads and the weight is so light on it I can carry it bymyself. I play it through a 700rb head and it is loud with nice bass and tone. I recommend this cab to anyone who is searching for a new bass cab
