You get what you pay for

    By Mika Valencia

Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

So I got this cab along with a backline600 head GK. Tell you what, it's a great cab. I'm not ganna lie, I like it a lot. However, I'm in a band now, and my setup isn't loud enough. The purpose for my current setup was because I had just started playing a lot, and now I need my step up. The reason why I like this cab a lot; not only at the moment, but I look forward to adding on anther cab along with a new head. This cab is amazing, and delivers a deep rich sound w/ my bass. I don't regret getting it, but I got what i paid for. I WOULD recommend this to anybody. Although, the price isn't what I expected. I checked out the neo410 cab, and it was much louder than this, better, and not that much more expensive.. It isn't quite proportional, but its a great cab to add along to your whole setup. The quality is amazing, durable, and most importantly- lightweight.

    40 pounds is light!

    By Charles Cox

    from Atlanta, GA

Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I've been lugging around a 73-pound 210 cabinet for years. This cabinet sounds just as good and weighs nearly half as much! Buy this -- your back will thank you, and you'll love the sound.

GK, Reigns Supreme over all bass equipment!!!

    By Joey Fowler

    from Elberta Alabama

Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I just bought this cab doubled with the NEO 410 and topped off with the GK 1001 rb amp head, let me tell you this thing sounds like it was crafted by God. After getting this rig home and hooked up I fell in love with GK equipment immediately, pristine highs with ground shaking lows. I am telling you the sound this thing produces i thought was only a fantasy, but GK made my dream sound into a reality. Another awesome thing is both the neo 410 and neo 115 came with speakon cables. I will be with GK for the rest of my life now, i am sold on GK equipment. I am begging you try GK before making any decisions, i am convinced you will choose GK too!!!

    Lightweight and Powerful!

    By paul rockman

    from windsor locks, connecticut

Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

Very lightweight yet handles 400 watts with remarkable clarity. I play a Carvin 6 string Icon Bass and it handles the full range spectrum of notes easily. This cab sounds great by itself, but I use it as an extension cab on top of a Gallien-Krueger 4 X 10 Neo with the Hybrid 550 Tube amp. The sound these cabs put out will take your breath away!

    tight bass

    By Poor Devil

    from Portland, Oregon

Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I am a keyboard player and I wasn't satisfied with my speaker set-up; two p.a, speakers each with a 12 inch speaker and a horn. Light enough but not enough bottom end. Add a sub-woofer? Too heavy. After research I decided on the Neo 115 and now I have a full sound and my back ain't broke. It was worth waiting for.

Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

i cant believe the clarity this 15 cab gives. i used it in bi-amp mode for the 1st time as a stand alone cab with my 1001 rb 'the cab belongs to the 'band' and i had been using it under a mbe 210 combo 'not' the best stack! buy this cab with an rb head and your set

    Lightwright, old-school sounding cab

    By hd

    from Reisterstown

Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I love this cab. Lightweight, loud and sounds open yet deep, but not too deep, just like a 15-incher should. When used with a P-bass, it's punchy and great for rock. I hooked it up to a MarkBass head, and it needed NO tone adjustments. There is a tweeter, but it doesn't override the speaker. The cab just really delivers the tone. It's nothing like a 10-incher, meaning it's not heavy to move, nor is the sound thick and over-tone laden. Just clear bass tone with well-defined mids and upper-mids. I love this cab!
