Take charge of the bottom line with the Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II Head/Neo 112 Cabinet Pack with Covers. Includes a 700RB-II Bass Head and a Neo 112 Bass Cabinet, each with heavy-duty nylon gig bags.
700RB-II Bass Head
This head is a state-of-the-art monster designed to deliver maximum performance with minimum fuss. An extremely high-current power supply and matching power amp circuitry extract every ounce of this head's awesome output. Its high-current design eliminates the need for current-limiting circuitry that muddies your tone. The biamped design delivers 480W to your woofer and 50W to the horn using an electronic crossover for seamless 2-way sound. 4 bass-specific bands of active EQ give you ultraprecise tone-shaping power. 3 voicing filters help you further shape your sound. 2-year warranty.
Neo 112 Cabinet
This is a front-ported cabinet housing a custom-designed cast-frame neodymium 12" loudspeaker which delivers high output at a fraction of the weight of conventional speakers.
The Neo 112 performs beautifully, with consistent response from top to bottom, plenty of definition in the highs and midrange, and a fat low end. It switches between standard full-range or biamped operation using GK's crossover with horn attenuation. Both Speakon-style and 1/4" connectors are provided. The Neo cabinet is constructed from rugged 11-ply poplar, wrapped in heavyweight Tolex, and fitted with sturdy, interlocking corners and a 16-gauge steel grille. 300W power handling. 8 ohms impedance.

Comments about Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II Head/Neo 112 Cabinet Pack with Covers:
I own the 700RB, Neo112 and a Neo115. This Package is really cool, I didn't get any of those cool covers! The 112 Neo cabinet by itself has a really unique sound to me since I was used to 10" and 15" speakers. Kind of a low midrangey focus that sounds great with a Jazz bass bridge pickup but not boomy like an old school 15. It also has enough oomph to make you feel the low strings on your 5 string bass. It's also light enough that I can carry it with one hand without my arm feeling like its gonna fall off. I love the look of the aluminum grill and the clasic tolex. The 700RB combined with the NEO cab makes a great setup for practice or small gigs. GK setups are the only amp I really like using the tweeter on because they have a biamp feature that lets you give the woofer "boost" which is basically a mild overdrive without having distortion on the tweeter so you can use the tweeter without any harsh sounds when you slap and pop. Add another NEO cab like the 15 or 212 to this package and you can cover just about every gig situation except like an extreme hyper death metal band.
