700RB-II Bass Amp Head

Take charge of the bottom line with the Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II Bass Head—a state-of-the-art monster designed to deliver maximum performance with minimum fuss. An extremely high-current power supply and matching power amp circuitry extract every ounce of this head's awesome output. Its high-current design eliminates the need for current-limiting circuitry that muddies your tone. The biamped design delivers 480W to your woofer and 50W to the horn using an electronic crossover for seamless 2-way sound. 4 bass-specific bands of active EQ give you ultraprecise tone-shaping power. 3 voicing filters help you further shape your sound. 2-year Gallien-Krueger warranty.

410RBX-II Bass Speaker Cabinet

It may be used in standard full-range operation or with GK's Horn Bi-Amp System. Special chambering and bracing have been incorporated into the speaker cabinet design to eliminate standing waves so that nothing gets in the way of your performance. The 410RBX-II cabinet features cast-frame woofers, high-quality horns, black carpet, recessed handles, rugged steel grille, nickel-plated casters, custom interlocking corners, and 11-ply poplar construction.

Big sound

By Draind

last year when my GK 700rb/210 was stolen, i had to replace it. knowing that i love the GK tone, i went with this option. a huge fan of the biamp head, ensure that the highs stay high and lows stay low, no muddyness. theres a 14 db pad right on the input, dont know exactly what it does to the tone but i like it(ofcourse it lowers output volume, so turn the volume up to compinsate). theres even a 5 string voicing option.contour and presence controls actually effect tone a very large amount. lookin for a lowlow walking bass tone, turn the presence down contour middle. lookin for a poppy tone? presence up contour down. that little section alone works wonders. then theres eq, more tone shapping options. low, middle-low, middle high, and high. the output section even has options, tweeter levels, woofer levels. and the 4/10, very powerful. my old combo was only 210, and it moved massive amounts of air. this thing gets loud. loud enough for most any gigs. effects loop, tuner loop, would more could you ask for? the only thing this thing doesnt have is distortion, but thats what pedals are for
