Classic GK growl at a low price!

By Mike

Comments about Gallien-Krueger 410MBX 400W 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet with Horn:

I was torn between this cab and buying an acoustic brand cab. The acoustic was 300$ so what swayed me to drop the extra 50$ ? one the GK has a metal grill, essential for touring bands. The acoustic has a cloth grill it is SO easy for those to be torn and your speakers will be done for . Thumbs up GK. Also the GK corners are sturdy to protect but also have a cool design allowing you to stack cabs. How do i feel about my cab? well i loved it so much that i ordered another! now i have two of these cabs , they stack and lock into each other to form a tall stack of GK power all for just under 700$. How can you go wrong?

So far so good

Comments about Gallien-Krueger 410MBX 400W 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet with Horn:

So i bought this cab two days ago and so far so good. i staked it on top of another GK 115 mbx and use them with a mesa boogie m6 carbine head. all i have to say is wow! the mesa of course is awesome but the cabs sound great. there nice sound clear and punchy.i get real nice highs and mids and the horn also gives me a real clear sound. everyone has been giving complements on my rig. i went with GK because they make real good equipment for good prices. i researched different cabs and asked around. what i found is that for the price GK made the better cab and the perfect amount of watt handling for my m6 mesa head which is 600 whats. all the other cabs either couldn't find the right watt handling or they were able to take more than the head could give.also the other cabs were to expensive GK was perfect i recommend this cab to any one gk 410 mbx great sounding amp good price and sounds great staked. if u need a good cab either to stack or just want a 410 then go with this

Excellent first Cab

By ROBERT CHILDRESS

Comments about Gallien-Krueger 410MBX 400W 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet with Horn:

Ive been playing bass for about 2 years...This is my first cab, and i have it hooked up to the GK Backline 600 amp head...I am in a Heavy Metal band, and practice every week for about 6 hours, and have played through 2 gigs with this setup with no issue...Very good sound, clear on the highs, and lows...However, at times it is a bit hard to hear the lows during shows, and i do have a bit of trouble at practice keeping up with the two guitarists 4x12 cabs...So, i would suggest if you do plan to play in a band with two guitarists, and play small gigs, think about adding the 115 MBX to help bring out the lows in your music...I will be doing so myself soon...Nothing wrong with the 410 MBX, its just not made to bring out the lows as much as the 115 MBX...
