This cab is just amazing! Not only does it have just a beautiful, beautiful, look, but the tone is just downright unfair to all the other companies. I run this with a GK 1001RBII and it's a match made in heaven. Bright highs, smooth mids, and thundering lows. I use to have a Peavey 410/115 stack. I had to run a EQ and chorus just to get the tone I like, but those 12" speakers handle everything! It's like, the 12 inchers give me the highend punch I love, yet since they're bigger than a 10" speaker, I get the same lowend push I got from my old 115. With the kickplate and bar, this cab feels ALOT lighter than 99lbs. Add in the GK Growl and you'll never want another cab. Keep in mind this is a very popular cab right now, and you'll probably have to order it at a GC, and wait. I had to wait 1 1/2 months for mine, (I've read others have waited up to 4 months,) but I'm telling you it's worth it. You can only give it 5 stars ... but it deserves more.
Great purchase for the price. Amazingly full and powerful sound! I use this with the 1001RB and am very satisfied. Much smaller and lighter than the 8x10 cabitnets out there but packs just as big if not bigger punch. I debated for months whether I should get this cab or the 8x10 and I'm very happy I went with this one. I can move it myself and I can fit itsin the backseat of my car!
This cabinet is awesome.I play it thruogh a GK 1001RB and it cranks.Great tone at any volume.Only it's so heavy.I read a review that said the guy puts it in his backseat. How?He must have arms like King Kong.I need help getting it in and out of my Jeep Commander. No side handles. But overall, it's a great sounding cabinet.Well worth the money. In fact I dropped it out the back of my jeep by accident and it did'nt even scratch. It worked fine on the gig and still sounding great.
