The Neo 112-II performs beautifully, with consistent response from top to bottom, plenty of definition in the highs and midrange, and a fat low-end. It switches between standard full-range or biamped operation using GK's crossover with horn attenuation. Both Speakon-style and 1/4" connectors are provided. I originally bought this cabinet to pair up with my old faithful GK mb150s. I recently found out that it works well with my higher powered 400 watt Acoustic Image Clarus amp. I use it with an upright bass and a fender jazz bass. The first few days that I played through it, it had a really barky midrange sound to it but, has since mellowed out and it has really nice tight lows. It has replaced my Avatar Neo 112 which has a much looser low end and is also heavier, slightly larger, and doesn't sound quite as loud as the GK. The GK makes it easy to carry using one or both of the spring loaded handles. The tweeter control is a nice touch to add flexibility to the tone of the cabinet. I am planning to buy a second Neo 112 to add to my rig for louder outdoor gigs. Having just one cabinet is plenty loud for smaller clubs with a drummer. If you are looking for a lightweight, easy to carry, quality cabinet at a great price, look no further the GK neo 112-II fits the bill nicely.
