    I worked in the music store business for many years and always loved GK stuff. It sounded great and we very reliable. I am primarily a guitar player, but enjoy bass too and it became time to buy a rig that could do anything I wanted down the line. I believe in spending you money once and GK was my choice. I bought this cabinet and a 1001RB Mark 2 head. What a rig! Plenty of sounds, plenty of power, and rock solid! It is really nice to have the horn there and the ability to adjust how much is going to it. In doing my research I found that this is pretty much the studio standard for getting the "GK Growl", and that renown players like Flea take stacks of these on tour. The price was reasonable to boot. Just good stuff. I ended up adding on the matching 15" cabinet that also has a horn. Killer rig!
