I was hesitant to purchase a low end personal monitor system but decided to give it a try when G.C. had a promotion.
I play in a praise & worship band and we do two services on Sunday and on rehearsal through the week.
No interference with the wireless mic's and no unwanted noise so far.
Great budget personal monitor system!
I bought this for personal monitoring and was tired of wires getting in the way of switching guitars. It does a very good job of sending a wireless signal. I the battery life is at least as good (5hrs) as advertised. I like the rackmountability, though is would be nice to actually have the antenna in the front of the module- I think in a my rack system it limits the distance it can reliably transmit, but I am not needing to be 100 feet away from my gear. I occasional get some small amount of interference, but this has not been much of a problem. I would recommend to anyone that wishes to play with in ear monitoring live.
i was looking for a cost effective IEM solution, and this fit the bill perfectly. i picked up two of these, 1 630.2mhz and 1 659.0 mhz for me (drummer) and my vocalist. as it may have already been stated, the 659.0 mhz has a power "on" indicator on the front. so far so good, i haven't tried out range just yet, but as i type this i am listening to my tracks from across the room with a pair of meelectronics replacements (the included in ears are still in the box unopened.
bottom line, for the price it will give you what you need. my only frustration with these, is in all reality the guitar center performance guarantee is pretty much no good for any touring use since if your pack goes out, or something happens, you are pooched, since at least none of the GC around where i live have these in stock and it's a mail order or store delivery only. so if you are accident prone, or tend to plan WAY ahead, order a back up unit...
