Overview

The ASAT Junior II carries two Paul Gagon-designed P90 pickups, specially spec'd to deliver stellar tones in each position and with matched output for more truly usable rhythm/lead switching. No more fumbling with the volume trying to find balance between the P90s.

The Junior II features an easy-playing, medium-C profile neck with 12" radius and 1-5/8" nut width for a classic ASAT feel that greets the hand like an old friend. Add on Tone-Pros bridge/tailpiece hardware, delicious Irish Ale-finished mahogany body and hard rock maple neck with Rosewood board and you've got one versatile ASAT that effortlessly covers a wide range of sonic territory.

The Junior II has popped up before in short-run Custom Creations models made at G&L's Fullerton, California shop, but this is the first time it's been this widely available. On top of that, it's part of G&L's Tribute Series, which has been garnering rave reviews for more than a decade thanks to its solid combination of tone, quality and value.

Comments about G&L Tribute ASAT Junior II Electric Guitar:

I am a guitar teacher and have worked at my store many years. I've seen guitars and brands come and go. Luckily, I get to use new guitars from the sales floor to check out and teach with. we have several G&L models and they all are great. this guitar inspires me. amazing design, attention to detail, my new favorite.

G&L guitars are the real deal. this guitar is just an amazing value. the quality matches my prized Fenders and Gibsons.

Comments about G&L Tribute ASAT Junior II Electric Guitar:

I ordered this online and it took forever (6 weeks or so) to arrive. I had the excellent repair guy at GC Nashua set it up and he found that it would need some major fretwork to make it playable. I refuse to buy an instrument that needs work right out of the box, so I returned it. I assume GC sent it back to G&L. I was very disappointed as the guitar sounded great - the G&L P90s were nice. Did not like the neck color as well. G&L needs to work on it's Indonesian quality control. Much praise to GC Nashua for being professional and helpful in resolving this. I guess I will have to look elsewhere for my P90 fix.

Comments about G&L Tribute ASAT Junior II Electric Guitar:

Thought this was going to be a great combo of Tele style body and SG tones, instead just disappointment. Selector switch was poorly installed, great tone from neck P-90, but the bridge pickup would either disappear or would have no gain to it. Aside from the suspect electronics this guitar was great, tone wise and feel wise, loved the 12 inch neck radius, and it kept in tune very well even with 13s on it. Would've kept it if it didn't need as much work as it did.
