The G&L Limited Edition Tribute Legacy HSS fattens things up with a G&L AW4368 alnico bridge humbucker to complement the vintage G&L Alnico V single-coils in the neck and middle positions. The Legacy HSS has that ideal balance that’ll let it play well in a variety of settings.
This limited-edition model features a transparent red finish over a mahogany body and 9.5" fingerboard radius.
The Legacy HSS brings all of the Legacy features, starting with Leo’s PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup. What’s more, the Legacy HSS features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art that allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm.
If you’re looking for that extra power to properly rock the house but you don’t want your classic Elvis to leave the building, then you owe it to yourself to check out the Legacy HSS. Once you play a G&L Tribute Series, you’ll never look back. Case sold separately.

Comments about G&L Limited Edition Tribute Legacy HSS Painted Headcap Electric Guitar:
I've been playing for about 28 years and I've been eyeing G&Ls for a while. I came across this one on sale for $100 off. I was a little skeptical about it being a Tribute but I'm very happy with my purchase. I unboxed it, tuned it up and started playing. The setup right out of the box was excellent. Action was great, no buzzing, intonation was pretty close all the way up the neck. You can feel the quality in this guitar. It's put together very well. The pickups sound excellent. Very clear and detailed. I have an early Highway One Strat with Seymour Duncan SSL-1s that I love and I have to say that the G&L sounds better and with the PTB tone circuit it's very easy to get a killer tone on any of the pickups. I would say this guitar exceeds a Mexican Strat in every way. Beautiful finish on it as well. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed.
