I use these on my Les Paul standard. I play pretty hard and use a lot of bending, I had a problem of snapping of B strings like crazy with every other brand of strings I have tried (E Balls, Dunlop, Dean Markly etc.). These strings can not only take the beating, the tone lasts twice as long as other strings i have tried. Also the coating gives a nice silky feel to the strings and allows my fingers to glide more easily up and down the fretboard.
I have been a Taylor player for (18) years, now. On my acoustics, and now T5. I have been using Elixir strings, but they have gotten so "pricey" ...... I love your "Boomers" / Electrics for my Fenders. This new "coated" electric set is on my T5, just out of my own curiousity. I hope to be overwhelminglyl satisfied with them. I'm curious why I cannot purchase them @ Guitar Center Stores. On line is all right, just a bit inconvenient when I need 'em right away... (plus the shipping cost as well). Why not stock them store site? Thanks. Mike
