I put these on one of my Fender Jazz Basses and I loved these. I'm always experimenting with different string brands and sizes. These were really great. These are perfect especially if you are a slap bassist. They have a really bright sound to them but they still seem to maintain a full tone. I would also recommend these if you are just learning to play bass and you haven't yet built up good finger strength.
