I use a modded Epiphone Les Paul Standard, and what I wanted to do with these strings was get as close as I could to SRV tone with the guitar I have. I must say, these do an excellent job. Besides the actual tone, they have a great feel, making them good for both chords, and lead guitar, with plenty of bending and vibrato. You can't go wrong with these strings.
