I was amazed by these strings!They are the best strings for any genre of music.The actually give the guitar a more distinct warm tone or you can turn on the gain and get a chunky metal tone.GHS Boomers are the best strings ever!
Love GHS Boomers. I used to have to buy my packs individually, but now I don't have to. This 10 pack deal is great! Extra strings for less money. Especially if you don't believe in changing one string at a time. I break one, I change all six.
First off: these strings are extremely reliable. What i mean by that is that they hold their tune perfectly and never break. I have never broken one string either restringing or playing. They sound pretty good for a reasonable amount of time. The only thing I really didn't like about them was that they had a higher tension than other string brands of the same gauge. Another con is that they sound very "metal." If you're going to be playing metal and metal only then these are your strings. So overall these strings are pretty good, but I'll be sticking with D'Addario EXL110's because of that awesome round, "full" tone.
