I've been running BFD for a few years now, and finally made the jump to BFD2. So incredibly worth it! They've really upped the quality and the amount of drum samples ? over 55 GB ? is worth it in-and-of itself. If you're borderline on whether to upgrade, I really suggest making the jump.
I will admit I hardly ever deployed BFD in my sessions, it is (was) too awkward to use.
I never considered BFD2.
I recently got several Protools tutorials, and I saw they offered one for BFD2, so I bought it and saw exactly how this thing works.
It is WELL worth the money, and the results are spectacular!!
You will NOT be dissapointed!
