The Ultimate Octave guitar effects pedal from Fulltone is a fat distortion/fuzz with a very active tone control and a separate switch that kicks in the most searing octave-up available. In addition to volume, tone, and fuzz controls, the Ultimate Octave effect also has a Fat/Bright switch that completely changes both the distortion and octave sounds from strong, thick mids (Fat) to completely scooped out with no mids and lots of bass and high end (Bright).

  • FUZZZZZZY

    Awesome pedal!! I play in a fuzz/garage-rock revival band and have owned fuzz boxes from nearly every maker. This pedal blows them all away. From the get-go this thing shines, I play a 72' tele running through a custom 100 watt Marshall, and the tone is unbelievable. I suggest this pedal to anyone who isn't afraid of a little fuzz. Word.

    This is a beast! Leave the OctaveUp off and you have a rich fuzz with lots of room in the three knobs for tweaking. Turn on the OctaveUp for some craziness. You also have Fat/Bright switch to explore more tonalities. Creates some singing sustain and harmonics.... Played several jams with it already (only had it 4 days) and this will not be leaving my pedal chain anytime soon.

  • excellent pedal. my fave octave fuzz.

    does as advertised: EXTREME and PRONOUNCED octave fuzz, (single coil or bucker. neck or bridge), and with fantastic texture and nuance, (a simple turn of a volume or tone pot can alter it wonderfully). it really shines on a neck pickup, (single or bucker alike). it's a fulltone, so it's built like a tank with premium components.
