Overview

Think of the Fretlord FretLightZ as a spotlight mounted on your guitar or bass, aiming right on your fretboard so you can see your fret position in the dark. The light has 5 colors to choose from.

Fretlord's Fretlightz comes with a mounting clip that attaches to the headstock strings behind the nut. Fretlightz projects a brilliant high output LED light onto the fretboard.

The Fretlightz LED light also pops out of the claw base to use as a gig light to see your set list onstage or wherever you need light.

Flip it on when you break for a lead solo, or provide much needed light in those dark clubs with little to no stage lighting. Nighttime beach gigs, campfires, or just tearing it up while practicing or recording in the studio.

Fretlightz produces lighting effects making your frets, strings, hands, knobs, bridge, and guitar body illuminate. Color theme setups create an interactive flashing effect with the shadows of your hands giving of the effect of multiple color changes off the frets. Fretlightz is one handy accessory and looks absolutely outrageous to help battle the dark forces of low visibility.

Ehh...

By Allan (Chris) Laird

from Marion, Ohio

So, I was using a gift card to buy a few accessories on here when I realized I had a few bucks left and I needed something to fill my order. I saw this and thought, "OK, it looks cheesy but I like it!". Well, it is indeed, cheesy. About the only thing you can attach it to is the strings, which I don't like. It moves around a lot and doesn't provide any real light unless you point it directly at something. I surely wouldn't spend any of my REAL money on this and I kinda regret even using a gift card on it. Mehhh......

Cool Ideal

By Tyler Vanderkooy

from YOUR MOM

It is perfect for dark stages. As stated in another review, your hand blocks the rest of the fretboard. But, it still looks pretty beasting on dark stages. If there is light on it, it is not noticeable. But still pretty cool. Five stars for doing exactly what it says it will do.

It's good for what it is

By Brian

from Chicago, IL

This light definitely illuminates the fretboard as shown in the photos, but once your left hand is in position, it blocks the light, so you don't see anything further up the neck from where you're playing. I suppose you can buy 2 lights and have one at each end of the fretboard, but one light won't cut it.
