Hang your electric or acoustic guitar on the wall. The FretRest base screws into the wall and supports a solid metal bracket. A guitar headstock rests securely in the bracket, conveniently against the wall, off the floor, and out of the way. The protective padding is specially formulated to help protect your guitar's finish.
for the price you sure cant go wrong. these things not only hold the guitars with confidence, but they look cool on the wall.
This does its job, I have 2. However, one of them didn't assemble due to poor manufacturing tolerances. If you have a Dremel or proper files, you can file the metal down so it will fit together. Once done it performs very well for both my acoustic and my Epi LP.
For the price, the FretRest cannot be beat. Securely holds the guitar, well padded and very strong. The hanger swivels in the base so it will accommodate non-standard head-stocks like a Strat or Telly and still let the guitar hang plumb on the wall. I have one for my Strat and my acoustic and both guitars hang without touching the wall so, no need for additional wall bumpers. The screws that come with the product are too short for mounting directly to a stud or to get enough bite in the included drywall anchors. I used 2 1/2 inch screws and am confident it's going nowhere. Would have rated 5 stars if not for the screws.
