  • a "playing revitalizer"

As reviewed by JBailey on 12/31/2009

i bought this dvd a long time ago straight from fret 12 and its been a really valuable purchase ever since. I wont lie it was really hard at first. I had no prior experience with modes or legato playing. All i was doing was doodling in the pentatonic scale like other noobs but all the legato, picking, and rythm exercises in here is taking my playing to a whole other level. the exercises really get both hands working to there max, demanding perfection. I'm still not the best at doing some of these runs and exercises but i'm starting to incorporate what i've learned into my own solos which is always good. speaking of solos, mark breaks down all of his solo off Alter Bridges black bird cd, as a huge AB fan that was big thing! If you enjoy marks playing or you really want an intense kick in your playing, get this dvd
