The Focusrite Saffire 6 is a 2 in 4 out USB audio interface. It uses the same award-winning Focusrite mic preamps as the rest of the Saffire range. This makes it the best value, and best sounding interface in its class. Its output configuration is also ideal for laptop DJs.
This USB audio interface is ultra-reliable and easy to set up, providing you with the simplest route to record into, and play back from your computer. It has lower latency than any of its rivals, and professional analogue to digital converters ensure you get the best possible signal into your recording software.
With 2 mic preamps, multiple outputs and MIDI I/O, the Saffire 6 USB can be at the center of your home recording setup. However, its reliability means that you can take it out and record on location with confidence. The 2 in 4 out configuration is perfect for laptop DJs who need to be able to cue up material, or send two different signals to either side of a DJ mixer.
The Saffire 6 is Focusrite's most affordable interface to date, and it comes with Ableton Live Lite 7, Novation's Bass Station synthesizer, and over a gigabyte of samples. In addition to all this, you get the Focusrite FX Suite, which includes a compressor, gate, reverb, and EQ to upgrade your standard AU/VST effects.

It does everything well. My only two 'con's would be:
Low output headphone jack can't drive K240s
XLR/RTS multi jack seems to be soldered to the board.
Other than that, the sound is amazing, the plug ins that come with it will be your favorites, and it took about 3 minutes to get it running perfectly with no drop outs.
I also have the Saffire Pro 40, and this unit sounds identical (which is why I bought it - for those times when I need to track a vocal in the booth with a Macbook Pro
I don't often write reviews, but simply had to comment on the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB. Over a month ago I purchased a new custom-built PC by Polywell in the SF Bay Area (they make great PC's!) and had them put Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on it - which is the 1st challenge for audio as many things have changed on this new OS including stuff like new firewire drivers.
I encountered Failure After Failure to get an audio interface working with Creative Crap X-Fi Fatal1ty Platinum w/breakout box, Echo Gina3G, M-Audio FirePro 610, Presonus FireStudio and HT Omega Claro Halo either because of bad drivers provided, IRQ clashes or firewire driver clashes. So, reading raving review after raving review of the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB and then actually speaking to someone at the Focusrite offices in So. Cal. I purchased one.
What has been said in every review I have read was right on the mark. Easy installation - check. Good Windows 7 x64 drivers - check. Working within 5 minutes out of the box without issue - check. Fantastic, clear, true sound - check. Vocal recording - check. Ease of use - check.
At this price, I would argue that this box is better (to my ears) than anything available in the higher and lower bracket as well as several options. The clear and true sound whether through speakers or headphones just blows me away. The only issue I had (and arguably it is my issue more than the boxes' issue) is that I could not make my Sennheiser PC-350 headset w/mic boom work - but again, that's my issue as it only seems to work with cheaper audio interfaces. I easily solved the problem by buying a Sterling ST-31 condenser mic. Even this low-end mic resulted in fantastic vocal recording quality thanks to the great pre-amps Focusrite has in the box.
If your budget can take the price tag, buy this - you won't regret it!
No comment's, it's perfect with a nice and clean sound. It has a very strong construction. Congratulation to the GuitarcCenter team.
