I purchased this violin for my grandson... he wants to learn to play... this violin is affordable.. has good sound..and will take him to the next level of play... this is THE violin to buy for the budding violinist.. you will be very happy...
Really not worth the price. One of the strings broke twice on the first day. GC was very cooperative and ensured that I was totally satisfied with the purchase and had the string replaced, installed, and tuned on the first day of purchase. However when my son started playing it the same string broke again later on that evening. He took it to school the next day and his violing teacher told him it needed repairs and should take it to a violing repair shop. Something about the tuning screws was defective. The lightweight softcover case ripped in two places the first day. We took it back to GC and replaced it with the next step up.
