The Florea brand Prodigy violin is a well-made student instrument with a maple pegbox (the part of the violin at the end of the neck that houses the tuning pegs) that is equipped with properly fitted ebony pegs for easier tuning and greater tuning stability. It additionally features a better quality spruce top plate, with good quality maple showing light flaming and body reinforcement at typical weak points.
