Fishman Pro EQ II Acoustic Guitar Preamp

When I tried to play live using my Takamine/Jasmine guitar with a passive pickup system, I knew I needed a preamp. After doing much research, I liked the Fishman Pro EQ II for the price and the simplicity. I simply plugged my guitar in it and there is a world of a difference. The unit totally changed the guitar tone to a professional sounding studio quality tone. It isnt much complicated to use either. You simply plug the guitar in it. Plug it in the output. Set your EQ and you are all set. I get the wamest tone from it and I am really happy with it. I would recomment it to anyone.

Fishman Pro EQ II Acoustic Guitar Preamp

The band I play with is mostly a dance band. I added a pickup to my 78 Gibson J-50, but needed a preamp as well. The Fishman was a great fit for me.

Necessary Gear

This little piece of gear is the handiest tool in my gig bag. I use it for guitar and mandolin and I see why it wouldn't work with anyother stringed acoustic insturment. The best money value in the business.

A Must For Live Performing

I gig three nights a week and play 6 string, 12 string, mandolin, congas and sing. I'm jumping all over the place all the time. My mandolin has a passive pickup and I play through the Fishman and it makes a world of difference. Clear, clean and sharp- just the way mandolins were meant to sound. I live in a high humidity area and the Fishman Pro has never been affected by the weather, power surges/blackouts, or drops from waist high. Easy to control and adjust on the run and small enough to stay out of the way. Buy it!! You won't be sorry.
