Fishman ncludes a Carpenter-style 1/4" output jack that mounts on the side of your mandolin. Fishman recommends an impedance matching preamp (not required), and professional installation.

  • Good Buy for the Money

    I've always trusted Fishman & they didn't let me down. Easy to mount except the top piece was not notched for the strings. They do recommend professional installation and they're right. This is not an easy install for a beginner. The M-200 returns great sound. If anything it may be a little too sensitive. I love it. My only complaint is with the Carpenter-style mount. The first couple times I unplugged it the whole plug came off of the mandolin. It's easy enough to remount, just be careful. I hope to get many years of good service from this Fishman.
