  • Best under saddle pickup choice for acoustics

    The Fishman Acoustic Matrix Natural is the best pickup choice for those that do not want to drill holes on the outside of their guitar. Easy installation too. You can pay about $60 at your local guitar shop to have it put in. The pickup is quiet and has good healthy signal to run to a direct box or preamp. Used in combination with the Fishman Aura, you can get realistic studio quality sounds. I have the Natural 2, which is for wider bridges and bigger bodied guitars like Dreadnaughts and Jumbos that have more bass. Make sure you get the right one. The Natural 1 is for smaller bridges on smaller guitars that have less bess, like the OM and OOOM body styles.
